Traditional town house in the heart of Castletown. 

The existing windows were none traditional timber

casement style which had been left to deteriorate

over the years.

The owners wanted to replace the windows with

double glazed sliding sash units to improve the

thermal efficiency, reinstate a window style which is

more in keeping with the property, have a

product that does not require maintenance whilst not 

coming with the high price tag of solid timber units.

 

Being within a Conservation area a full Planning 

Application had to be compiled and submitted.

Mechanically jointed uPVC units were proposed

that met the brief and also are high quality to respect

the Conservation Area.
