Fraser Reid Design were asked to undertake a feasibility study into extension options for a newly purchased traditional Manx Cottage.
The client was wishing to keep as much of the existing Manx Cottage envelope as possible whilst creating a contemporary extension/s that respected the existing dwelling and the surroundings. Exact room requirements were not set and this allowed for quite extensive studies into options to upgrade the layout to modern living requirements.
